Meadgate Primary School is situated in Great Baddow, south of Chelmsford City Centre. 

The classes are divided into seven individual year groups and we currently have 214 pupils on roll. 

At Meadgate School we believe that together we are stronger. Our school is culturally and economically diverse; something which we are proud of and know helps our children to gain a rounded and tolerant view of the world. We believe a polite, respectful environment, where every individual’s talents are recognised and valued, is essential to developing healthy self-esteem and a positive learning environment.  

We encourage pupils to be adventurous in their learning through our school-wide learning behaviours. These challenge children to be active, ambitious, brave, confident and curious learners,  supporting their development in school, whilst also being essential skills for the future.
