We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher with a strong background in teaching A Level Art to join our highly committed, supportive and experienced Art Department on a part-time basis.
Previous A Level teaching experience is essential, as the successful candidate will play a key role in developing and delivering high-quality Sixth Form provision and supporting students to achieve excellent outcomes. Our department is well resourced, with three specialist classrooms and a dedicated Sixth Form art studio, offering access to a wide range of media and equipment, including digital cameras, a screen-print exposure unit, kiln, printing presses and sewing machines.
All teaching staff are provided with their own laptop, and we are committed to supporting ongoing professional development through a comprehensive CPD programme.
The successful candidate will want to bring their passion and enthusiasm for art to encourage, motivate and engage our students from Year 7 to Year 13, and continue to raise standards in this high performing area. We currently teach GCSE Fine Art and GCE A Level Fine Art.
A commitment to extra-curricular clubs and art trips is essential. Galleries and collections our GCSE and A level students have visited include the Tate Gallery, the National Gallery, the Royal Academy, Saatchi Gallery in London and the Sainsbury Collection in Norwich.
Our oversubscribed school again achieved strong and effective ratings in its Ofsted inspection in March 2026 and we have a commitment to supporting students in developing as well-rounded individuals as well as achieving their academic potential.
